About agape
AGAPE is pronounced AH-GAH-PEY , which comes from Greek meaning the love of God for humankind. AGAPE Life Coaching is biblically founded on the following scripture:
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 NIV

Throughout a person’s life, there are times that one needs help. The Bible instructs us to come together to pray and carry each other’s burdens. Unfortunately, many people assume that seeking help can only come in the form of psychological counseling-but that assumption is inherently false. Instead, most people need someone to come alongside them to help mentally declutter and reorganize priorities in a forward-thinking approach. That is where a certified life coach comes in.

With the guidance of the coach, the client will discover and clarify specific steps to formulate co-created goals. Meanwhile, the coach keeps the client accountable and on track to succeed. The optimal number of coach/client visits is five full sessions to meet every one to two weeks apart. A typical first session begins with discussing the reason(s) the client is seeking assistance. Afterward, the coach and client decide upon the co-created new direction in life. By the end of the initial session, the client and coach will have identified specific goals and a framework to meet them.
